Onam greetings to all of you. Onam is a festival of Kerala, which is celebrated by all irrespective of their cast, colour and financial status. This is the time when most of the Keralaites get together, a time for family reunions. The most important things about Onam are the onakkali (a form of group dance), onapoovidal (flower arrangement) and ona sadya (a luxuroius and tasty vegetarian lunch).

Cuckoo.. Cuckoo !
In nostalgia on August 9, 2007 at 9:58 amSince I am not well, I was mentally prepared to allow me a longer sleep. In a semi-sleep state I heard the inviting sound of hope ‘Cuckoo’, ‘Cuckoo’. It was not a cuckoo clock, but a real cuckoo, inviting me into a new brisk day. The voice so soothing.
The inner turmoil
When I sell my land, it will be cleared for construction activities and the entire last piece of the habitat of these cuckoos and other birds in our area will be lost with it. Do I have any other financially viable option then selling this land. How am I going to manage the waste from around 20 new houses that will crop up here.
Letter to Sebastian Paul, Our MP
In general, people on August 8, 2007 at 7:48 pmDear Member of Parliament – Covering Varapuzha,
Hope you are doing well. None of us have neither seen you nor heard of you for a very long time, to be precise we have not seen you after the last elections. Our roads in the heart of the city (Ernakulam) are all broken up. WAste is piling up every where. People are falling sick. Every day atleast 10 people are dying. I am down with fever and the hospital I went was crowded with similar cases. In fact I first went to Dr.Zacharias clinic and it was full so I went to the hospital at Koonammavu. These are the news from here. You may not be aware of all these, since you are busy at Delhi, representing us.
Dont worry about us and our welfare. Keep enjoying. Go hell with people. We need them only during the next election. Till then make merry.
Cheers !

Please go on a vacation for 1 year – We will pay
In general on August 8, 2007 at 7:27 pmRecently on the TV in one of those fun channels they were showing a competition to elect the best politician by Keralites over SMS. To the surprise of every one Acuthanthan, Pinarai, RAmesh Chennithala, Oomen Chandy got the same number of votes, and were forced to go for a long vacation.
It has great meaning. We will be better without these leaders. Come and see the plight of the roads in Kerala. Anyone in charge of this will be ashamed. See the 10+ deaths every day in the state due to fever. See the crwds in every hospital suffering from fever. See the piling waste within the Cochin City !
People of Kerala are slowly realizing that, they want real leaders, who can work for the betterment of the society, not the chocolate leaders.
